Dear families and colleagues,

Welcome to St Columba’s Catholic College, Springwood.

Our learning and faith community is located on the traditional land of the Dharug and Gundungurra people. Each day, we seek to honour the history of this place and its people by practicing respect and care for the land, animals, and one another.

At St Columba’s Catholic College, we support young people as they develop into compassionate, responsible, and well-educated adults. Working in partnership with families, we enable our students to realise their potential in all aspects of their lives.

2024 marks the College’s 45th year of serving families of the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney. Since it was established in 1979, St Columba’s has provided students with exceptional opportunities for academic learning and personal growth, all based in a caring, Christian-centred environment.

We are proud of the College’s strong academic tradition, which is balanced by a rich co-curricular program. Our curriculum is broad and flexible, allowing us to personalise learning to challenge and enrich each student. We also offer many opportunities for the gifts and talents of our students to be discovered and developed, as we endeavour to cater to each student’s unique capacities, interests, and capabilities.

At St Columba’s Catholic College we aspire to produce graduates who take a hopeful, critical, and constructive role in the service of their community, following the example of Jesus Christ.
