2014 Write-A-Book-In-A-Day Awards Ceremony

It was a great experience going to Westmead Children's Hospital for the WABIAD award ceremony. Although we didn't win an award, it was still great to see the $49,000 be given to the KIds Cancer Project. I was inspired by how good the writing was in some of the books, especially the primary school ones. The best part, however, was visiting the hospital library. It was so interesting and nice to hear about how the library was formed, where the books come from and all the different languages they have books in. It was a phenomenal experience.
